Passports and Visas

Canadian citizens only require proof of citizenship, including picture identification. An official letter of invitation can be sent, if needed, to international participants for use in obtaining visas. Please provide: your name, title, complete mailing address, and title of any abstract(s) submitted to Ms. Mary Kay Ferguson, Symposium Administrative Assistant.

Insurance

It is recommended that Symposium participants consider buying insurance, in their home country, to cover the risks of loss of fees, cancellation of airline flights, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property, and additional expenses if travel arrangements need to be altered.

Computer Room

A limited number of Macintosh and IBM-compatible computers, allowing internet access and offering word processing for registered Symposium participants, will be provided at the Convention Center. Business center services are available at hotels and other locations near the Convention Center.
