Meet Professor Wayland E. Noland of the Chemistry Department of the University of Minnesota, who honored his association with Merrifield Award winner Daniel H. Rich (an alumnus of his laboratory where he was an undergraduate research assistant) by sponsoring several travel grants for graduate students to attend this Symposium.
