Top Ten Reasons for Michal Lebl to Co-Chair the 17th American Peptide Symposium with Richard Houghten

We need a Co-Chair because:

10. Richard doesn't have a funny enough accent.
9. Richard thinks that e-mail is a hybrid between male and female.
8. Richard looks too young and the Chair must be balanced by youth and experience.
7. In California, life is dangerous; we need a backup.
6. Somebody must be in charge of the beer supply.
5. Just in case Richard is too busy starting another new company.
4. Just in case there are not enough volunteers in San Diego, we can bring cheap help from the Czech Republic.
3. Somebody has to remember things, do all the work, and somebody else has to accept all the glory.
