The Department of Chemistry maintains a strong relationship with its alumni, and continuously works to provide services and opportunities for alumni to stay in touch with the department and with each other.
The Department of Chemistry is one of the oldest and most prestigious departments at the University of Minnesota. Chemistry's contributions to scientific and technological advances are vital as we work on solving energy and environmental problems, make medical advances, and ensure that our children have a safer and healthier world. Now more than ever, private support of teaching and research is key to maintaining and enhancing the tradition of excellence within the Department of Chemistry. Support at all levels makes a difference and there are many meaningful ways to make a gift.
