Stein identified as one of the top materials scientists

Professor Andreas Stein was identified as one of the world's top 100 materials scientists in 2011. Of the 100 scientists listed in the Thomson Reuters data, Stein was 27th. Scientists made the list based on who achieved the highest citation impact scores for papers published since January 2000. The average citation impact in materials science for that period was 6.93: Stein's was 63.51.
