ACS student chapter receives honorable mention

The American Chemical Society (ACS) University of Minnesota student chapter has received an Honorable Mention for its activities conducted in the 2014-15 academic year. Professor Aaron Massari is the group's adviser. He was commended by the ACS for his commitment of time and energy to undergraduate science education and mentoring. The ACS and the Society Committee on Education reviewed 400 chapter activity reports, and presented 55 outstanding, 99 commendable, and 160 honorable mentions. The lists of award-winning chapters will be published in Chemical & Engineering News, and the November/December issue of inChemistry, the student-member magazine. These chapters will be honored, Sunday, March 13, at the ACS National Meeting in San Diego.
