Many of you may recall the childhood game where you start with one word, and changing one letter at a time, with every intermediate word being a real word that is not a proper name, get to another word, e.g., CAT to COT to DOT to DOG.
During our family meal break from proposal writing about a year ago, the children’s menu had such a game, and while Deborah was trying to solve the relatively simple one provided therein, Michael asked me to convert GRANT to MONEY. My answer contains 12 intervening words. Charles Deber came up with an equally elegant, different solution, also with 12 intervening words.
Can you solve this challenge with 12 words or less?
