Registration Information

Web-based registration closes 8 a.m. Minneapolis time on Tuesday, June 22, 1999. Registration via FAX closes 8 a.m. Minneapolis time on Wednesday, June 23, 1999. All subsequent registration and payment can be handled on-site at the Registration/Information desk, although it would speed things along if you have filled out your forms in advance (the forms can still be downloaded).

A two-tier fee structure has been developed, in order to encourage registration prior to March 1, 1999. In addition, there are substantial savings for American Peptide Society members. Non-members are invited to consider joining the Society prior to registration for the Symposium. Since annual dues for regular membership are $95, participants who elect to join will immediately save $5 (postdoctoral fellows and students save even more). Members receive subscriptions to the Society's journals, and membership is a prerequisite to be considered for a travel grant supplement or to enter the Young Investigators Mini-Symposium and Poster Competition. Click here for information about the Society and how to join.

Registrations received by June 1, 1999, will be acknowledged by e-mail. Written receipts for fees paid will be included in the Symposium package received at the on-site registration desk.

Registration Form

The registration form can be obtained in several ways:

N.b., So long as the information is legible, it is not important in what format the registration form is sent to us. Forms may also be photocopied. One form please per registrant. Feedback about the registration process is welcome, and should be directed to Symposium administrative staff.

Three Easy Ways to Register

I. By Mail

Print out the registration form (see above), and mail it with your payment or purchase order to:

Registrar
16th American Peptide Symposium
University of Minnesota
P.O. Box 64780
St. Paul, MN 55164-0780
U.S.A.

II. By Fax

Print out and complete the registration form (see above) and fax it with your purchase order or credit card information, 24 hours a day, to 612-625-2207.

III. Online

We have developed methods for online registration with a variety of payment options, through a secure server. These do not require you to print out (and fill out) any form, and should be successful with all newer releases of Netscape Communicator and Microsoft Explorer (may not work if you have set a preference to not accept 'cookies').

IMPORTANT: Before you actually submit credit card information, make sure that your browser displays a message to the effect: "You have selected a secure document. The document and any information you send back are encrypted for your protection." Also, please ensure that on your "status bar", the lock icon appears in the closed position.

Online registration is now closed.

Payment
Payment must accompany all registration forms. The registration fees may be paid by credit card (VISA, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express), purchase order, or check in U. S. dollars drawn on a United States bank, made payable to the University of Minnesota. Payment by bank transfer is discouraged, but may be accepted with prior approval from Symposium administrative staff.

Persons submitting cancellation requests in writing prior to June 1, 1999, will be entitled to a refund of the fee paid, less a $60 U. S. processing fee. No refunds will be processed after June 1, 1999.
