Katherine McGill [camera shy, but reachable by e-mail], Director of Development for the University of Minnesota Libraries, is a lover of words and books, and a recovering attorney. She has been the "go-to" person for the Shortz visit, meaning that she got to deal with agents, bureaucrats, constituents, dogs, exes, ..., librarians, marketers, newspapers, opinionators, prima donnas, ..., ticket sellers, among others, in order to maximize the chances for success. Somewhere in the mix, Kathy thought that it might be nice to have a library-themed crossword puzzle to accompany the big event, and, with a little help from my friends, I was only too happy to oblige [complete with "midrash"].
