This "Friday-level" puzzle (two versions) was posted coincident to the publication of another puzzle in the New York Times. It indicates how high the bar has been raised for acceptance of this class of puzzles. All of these puzzles are dedicated to Dr. Michael J. Ashwood-Smith, Professor Emeritus of Biology, University of Victoria, BC, Canada, on the occasion of his 83rd birthday.
