Think Twice

by Marti DuGuay-Carpenter / Edited by George Barany

We are pleased to share this "mid-week level" puzzle, with its delightful theme.  Our release date coincides with the 100th anniversary of the first crossword puzzle, and is concurrent with another puzzle by its constructor that is appearing in the Los Angeles Times. After completing the puzzle (spoiler), learn more about the circumstances as a result of which it is being published on our website by clicking here.

Click here to view or download the puzzle in PDF format; here to download it as a puz file; here to download it as an ipuz file [requires the free Puzzazz app to solve]; here to solve the puzzle interactively (thanks to Jim Horne); here for the solution. We thank Noam Elkies, Martin Herbach, and Ben Jones for astute beta testing.
