RESEARCH INTERESTS: Our lab employs rheology, scattering techniques, and polymer and nanoparticle synthesis to address a range of fundamental and applied problems in polymer and soft materials engineering. We also develop new instruments, sample environments, and analyses in rheology and neutron/x-ray scattering. Our research addresses significant global challenges, and currently includes biorheology and drug delivery, sprayable coatings and membranes, sustainable rheological modifiers, field-directed assembly, and flow instabilities.
