The Puck Stops Here (at Ridder)

This "mid-week level" puzzle, written for a future issue of the Ski-U-Mah magazine, paid tribute to extraordinary recent accomplishments in collegiate athletics (pictorial hint to the right).  Its difficulty depends on how much the solver knows about our theme.
