Oh Say, Can You Sing?

by George Barany and Nancy Herther

This "mid-week level" puzzle was released in observance of a historic bicentennial (pictorial hint to the right), but should be broadly applicable for a range of patriotic occasions. After completing the puzzle (spoiler), learn more about its subject by clicking here for our "midrash." Note: This puzzle was reposted in June 2016 for a patriotic holiday.
