The Old Song and Dance

This "mid-week level" puzzle was written as a companion to an outstanding Jewish-themed documentary, the subject of which is hinted at by the graphic on the right. We are pleased (spoiler) that 42-Across has designated our opus as the "official puzzle" of their 52-Down, with appropriate links at their website.
