Donald Truhlar named Honorary Fellow of Chinese Chemical Society

Regents Professor Donald Truhlar has been named an Honorary Fellow of the Chinese Chemical Society (CCS). Honorary Fellow is the highest honor that CCS bestows on an individual. It is only conferred to the distinguished chemists of the world who have made significant contributions to the advancement of chemistry as well as to the development of Chinese chemistry and the Society. The total number is limited to 100 individuals worldwide.

"Accepting Honorary Fellowship is an honor that recognizes your international academic reputation," wrote Jiannian Yao, president of the CCS. "It is also a prestigious acknowledgment of your eminent contributions to chemistry in China."
