Department of Chemistry alumnus receives prestigious award

Christopher Exstrom, a professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK), has been awarded the prestigious Leland Holdt/Security Mutual Life Award. Exstrom earned his doctorate in chemistry from the University of Minnesota in 1995. The UNK award recognizes an outstanding teacher-scholar for achievements that bring substantial credit to the university, and who demonstrate high accomplishments in teaching, research, and service.
