Undergraduate student's proposal receives award

Jack Doenges, an undergraduate student working in the laboratory of Professor Edgar Arriaga, received the Minnesota Chromatography Forum 2001 Undergraduate Award for his proposal entitled, Capillary Electrophoresis with Laser Induced Fluorescence Detection for the Analysis of Mitochondrial Stability via Photo-Crosslinking. Jack will present his research findings at the Minnesota Chromatography Forum in the spring of 2012. His research focuses on the effects of fixation procedures on mitochondrial electrophoretic properties.
