Chemistry outreach part of profoundly gifted conference

Chemistry graduate student Lindsay Rymes and Professor Ken Leopold, who coordinate the Department of Chemistry's outreach program, will present chemistry demonstrations, Saturday, April 21, as part of the three-day Minnesota Profoundly Gifted Conference.

About 123 people, including 50 profoundly gifted students ages 10-17, from 12 different states will be attending this conference, which in addition to the chemistry demonstrations, includes a series of workshops, presentations, and tours.
