Graduate students participate in Doctoral Research Showcase

Two chemistry graduate students—Melissa Maurer-Jones and Bo Wang—participated in the 2012 Doctoral Research Showcase, Tuesday, April 17.

The College of Science & Engineering showcase featured the top recipients of 2011-12 doctoral fellowships. Both Maurer-Jones and Wang are chemistry Doctoral Dissertation Fellows. Maurer-Jones' research presentation was Fundamental Assessment of the Immunogenicity and Ecotoxicity of Nanoparticles. Wang's research presentation was the Development of Novel Computational Algorithms and Their Applications in the Study of Zeolites. Maurer-Jones' adviser is Professor Christy Haynes, and Wang's adviser is Professor Donald Truhlar.
