Kelly Volp has been selected as a 2012 Sigma-Aldrich Graduate Student Innovation Award recipient. This nation-wide award honors outstanding graduate students performing research in the area of synthetic organic chemistry methodology.
The award comes with $1000 cash, an iPad 3, and an all-expense paid trip to the 2012 GSIA Symposium at the Aldrich campus in Milwaukee, WI, in August. Volp will make a presentation on her research at the symposium, Thursday, August 9.
She is a research assistant in Professor Andrew Harned's lab.
