Two graduate students, Stephen Tereniak and Rajan Vatassery, have
received Minnesota American Chemical Society (ACS) travel grants of up
to $500 each. Stephen's adviser is Professor Connie Lu. Rajan's adviser
is Professor Wayne Gladfelter.
Both will be using the travel
grant to attend and make presentations at the ACS National Meeting in
April. Stephen is giving an oral presentation titled, "Synthesis,
properties, and reactivity of bimetallics with a new binucleating
ligand, tris(2-(2-pyridylamino)ethyl)amine." Rajan's oral presentation
is, "Experimental and Computational Study of Concentration Quenching in
Dye Sensitized Solar Cells."
