Two graduate students receive travel grants

Two graduate students, Stephen Tereniak and Rajan Vatassery, have received Minnesota American Chemical Society (ACS) travel grants of up to $500 each. Stephen's adviser is Professor Connie Lu. Rajan's adviser is Professor Wayne Gladfelter.

Both will be using the travel grant to attend and make presentations at the ACS National Meeting in April. Stephen is giving an oral presentation titled, "Synthesis, properties, and reactivity of bimetallics with a new binucleating ligand, tris(2-(2-pyridylamino)ethyl)amine." Rajan's oral presentation is, "Experimental and Computational Study of Concentration Quenching in Dye Sensitized Solar Cells."
