Kailey Soller, a second-year graduate student who is advised by Professors Gianluigi Veglia and Michael Bowser, has been awarded a Predoctoral Fellowship from the American Heart Association.
Her main area of focus is chemical biology, specifically, the regulation of heart muscle contraction through study of calcium transport in the heart. The two-year fellowship is $26,000 annually.
