Gao named associate editor of Chemical Theory & Computation

Professor Jiali Gao has been appointed a new associate editor for the Journal of Chemical Theory & Computation (JCTC) of the American Chemical Society.

JCTC publishes papers reporting new theories, methodology, and/or important applications in quantum electronic structure, molecular dynamics, and statistical mechanics, and it favors submissions that include advances in theory or methodology with applications to compelling problems. JCTC's impact factor is at the top of all theory and chemical physics journals.

Gao will join editors-in-chief Bill Jorgensen from Yale University and Gus Scuseria from Rice University, and associate editors Berny Schlegel from Wayne State University and Ursula Roethlisberger from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. Gao's appointment is effective, Sunday, December 1, 2013.
