Shaohong Li, a third-year graduate student working with Professor Donald
Truhlar, has received a Frieda Martha Kunze Fellowship for the 2015-16
academic year. He was selected based on his excellent academic record
and professional promise, including the cohesiveness of his study or
research plan.
Shaohong received his undergraduate degree from
Nanjing University in China. His research interest encompasses the
computational simulation of photochemical processes of molecules and the
development of needed methods. For the future, he would like to conduct
research in academia.
The fellowship includes a $23,000 stipend, plus tuition for up to 14 credits and subsidized health insurance.
