High school student participates in Chemistry Olympiad

Shretij Kapoor, a Post Secondary Education Option student from Eastview High School in Apple Valley, is currently participating in the U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad Program Study Camp, which is sponsored by the American Chemical Society. Shertij was a student in Professor Steven Kass’ Chem 2301 (introductory organic chemistry) course this past fall. He is one of 20 students competing for a spot on the four-member team that will represent the United States at the 47th International Chemistry Olympiad in Baku, Azerbaijan, July 20-29.
