Department hosts 2015 analytical chemistry conference

The Department of Chemistry is hosting the 2015 Midwestern University Analytical Chemistry Conference (MUACC), Thursday, November 5, through Saturday, November 7, in Walter Library, Room 402. Professor Philippe Buhlmann is the lead organizer for the conference.

MUACC conferences, which attract faculty members, post-doctoral associates, and advanced graduate students, are unique because they focus on identifying new trends in research and instruction of analytical chemistry, and in forging new alliances among research groups. The conference style is informal with most of the presentations done as chalk-talks.

The deadline is Thursday, October 1, or as soon as possible, for anyone wishing to give a talk or present a poster.
