The American Chemical Society (ACS) has announced that CSP Director Marc A. Hillmyer has been appointed the new Editor-in-Chief of Macromolecules. Hillmyer previously served as an associate editor for the journal for 10 years. He will succeed current Editor-in-Chief Timothy P. Lodge in January 2018.
“I am both honored and thrilled to take on the role of editor-in-chief. Macromolecules has a long history of being at the top of the polymer science publication world, and I intend to work diligently to both solidify that standing and take the journal to new heights,” said Hillmyer. “With support from the ACS, an outstanding group of associate editors, and the exemplary leadership from Tim Lodge, I am starting from an incredibly strong foundation.”
