Associate Professor Paul Dauenhauer has been selected to receive the inaugural AIChE Catalysis and Reaction Engineering Division (CRE) Young Investigator Award. Dauenhauer and Professor Yuriy Roman from MIT were declared joint winners in this inaugural year. The award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the science and/or technology of catalysis and chemical reaction engineering through publications or practice. As an award winner, Dauenhauer will be recognized at the CRE dinner with a plaque and financial award, and a technical session will be held in his honor during AIChE Annual meeting in October 2018 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
