CSP Investigator Chris Ellison will be speaking at Wayzata Schools’ Young Scientists Roundtable (YSR) program on April 9th. Chris’s talk, “Sustainability of Plastics,” will focus on the broad, complex topic of plastics and also highlight specific examples from his own research group such as green fiber manufacturing and recycling of multicomponent food packaging.
Since its beginning, YSR has featured over 250+ scientists from a range of academic and industrial fields, promoting the core value: ‘Science is Fun and Science is for Everyone’. In 2018, notable experts spoke on topics such as spinal cord injuries, killer germs, robots on Mars, Leukemia, and the University of Minnesota’s Honeycrisp apples.
