Research lead by CSP graduate student, Max Klemes and the Dichtel group, was recently highlighted as part of C&E News Magazine’s 2019 Chemistry Research of the Year showcase. Klemes’ publication, Reduction of a Tetrafluoroterephthalonitrile‐β‐Cyclodextrin Polymer to Remove Anionic Micropollutants and Perfluorinated Alkyl Substances from Water was featured in the segment PFAS pollution solutions moved forward, which covers discoveries to mitigate the impact of fluorochemicals in water.
