CSP Postdoc Researcher Dr. Raisa Ela was recently awarded the CEMS IDEAS Award, which recognizes her contributions to Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Action, and Service in the Department of Chemical Engineering & Materials Science community and beyond.
Some ways that Dr. Ela has contributed to the community include delivering an experimental lecture on the impacts of non-renewable materials and environmental contamination at the Bell Museum for 3rd and 4th graders, leading chemistry lessons for Minneapolis high school students, and volunteering at the MN Science and Engineering Fair.
Congratulations Dr. Ela on this award and thank you for contributing so much to the CEMS community!
