CSP researchers toured the Specialized Environmental Technologies, Inc. composting site in Rosemount, MN. The site handles yard waste drop-off from the public as well as the organics recycling collections from the City of Minneapolis. On the tour researchers learned about the composting process and some of the problems the industry faces. The researchers saw firsthand how compostable polymer products move through each stage of the composting process.
