Symposium participants will receive a "Program and Abstracts" book when they check in at the on-site registration desk. This book will contain the detailed scientific program and abstracts for each of the oral and poster presentations. One thousand posters are expected. They will be set up on Sunday morning, and be available for unattended review throughout the week in Exhibit Hall I. Formal poster sessions with the presenter(s) available for discussion will be conducted throughout the Symposium, at times when no oral presentations are scheduled. IMPORTANT NOTE (May 22, 1999). This preliminary schedule is completely supersed by information elsewher at this web site.
